  • FurGen 1.0 Released

    FurGen 1.0 is now available for download. Thanks to everyone who's downloaded and tested the plug-in. Extra thanks for those of you who have provided feedback, bug reports, and feature requests.

    FurGen is a plug-in that creates fur-like meshes for visualization. FurGen works with any Rhino compatible renderer, and is well integrated into the Rhino environment. It allows for easy recreation of effects such as fur, grass, rugs, bristles and more. FurGen is simple to use and Rhino users from a variety of industries have found it a valuable addition to their workflows.

            Nice work!

            I have an issue though...

            I'm trying to render a shaving brush. Here's my first try to setup the fur for this:

            The texture showing is the map for the length i'm using.

            On the flat surface the lengths of branches look ok, but on the spherical surface the length seems incorrect... How can I fix this?
