  • White spots in Render

    Hi,

Does anybody have any idea what is causing bright white spots in my rendering? Don’t fully understand irradiance map yet as learning – but guess it could be this. I have checked its not light shining through holes in my geometry.

I had a search through relevant posts that refer to white spots but these are different to mine. Mine are like small blotches of light (not 100% white pixels). I am unable to insert image at the moment.

Are there any emissive materials in your scene?

I am not with my usual PC at the moment. There was 4 spotlights that used emissive material but I thought I turned them off, they were only small and not near this view. Here is a screen shot - you cant see them all but when its fully rendered they are very obviouse.

After a little reading I think I may have to set the Clamp Output in colour mapping and Subpixel mapping. Will try this first.
