  • IES Profiles_Vray for Rhinoceros_ Rotation

    Hello everyone, I'm new here!

I take this opportunity to put into this first post, to anyone willing to help me, a question that I can not solve.
I'm trying to simulate through the IES lights a different lighting situations of an aqueduct, by downloading from the producers of lighting fixtures the files ".IES" format.

I came up against a problem that I can not solve: the orientation of the IES lights: once inserted and uploaded the file. IES can not change the direction of illumination. And 'as if the reference system of the light source could not vary, so if I rotate the object on which it is applied, the source physically moves with the object, but the light direction remains the same direction as before.

There is therefore a way to change that direction? When I decide to create the IES light in the 3d model I use some foresight?

I hope that I explained clearly, and look forward to your advice!
Thank you all for your attention!
