  • How to blend my groundlayer correctly with background

I have an issue when using HDR images for background and groundmaterial.

The reflection layer does that the edge of the ground will show in the render.

Is there a way to avoid this? I tried using a gradient without luck.

Or is this post render work. (i dont really have the skills)

Se picture: (this one was better than most renders)

I dont think you wont ever be able to properly blend some of YOUR water of the water around. Just create a water surface that covers the ENTIRE water surface of the background.

The fastest way it's to do a post-work with GIMP (opensource tools).
It's very simple and I'm sure if you are able to draw such a boat you will able to learn GIMP.

Another way it's using a gradient, or a B/W map, it the Diffuse>Transparency of the ground plane material

      hope this can help you.
