  • does the Fly-through mode for Light Cache function in beta

    Hi All,
Does the fly-through mode function in the current Vray beta? I recall being told it did not work in the older release version of the program.

If it does do you use it in the same way as incremental irradiance maps? Is every 10 frames a reasonable number of images to render and save or do you need to render all the frames?

If this feature is now working is it the preferred way of rendering the frames to minimize flicker?

    thanks

    Hi Chuck
Unfortunately the Fly-Though animation mode is not working in the beta either. This feature is very good to calculate animation when the camera is the only moving object. You don't need to setup a number of frames, this mode will calculate the LC for the whole animation in the first frame.
