Is it normal that the color of material ID is affected by the transparency settings in the material definition?
I would prefer not.If I choose to add a meterial ID it is to make it easier to select certain part of the drawing,being affected by transparency,destroy the purpose of it.

Yes this is a bug , and I'll inform our developers about it.
I'll let you know once the issue is fixed.
