  • Looking for advice on modeling free flowing fabric.

    HELLO!
I feel like I am pretty good at modeling in rhino. I have been using rhino almost daily for about three years. However, I am lost when it comes to creating realistic bed sheets. I am a furniture designer and I am required to make beds on occasions. When I render beds, they need bedding such as, pillow, comforters, sheets that flow to the ground at the foot board. Do any of you have any advice or know of any tutorials as to how to do this? Any advice will greatly help me out.

    Thanks a lot!

I woulld use T-Spline/Clayoo for mattress modeling and Blender for cloth simulation. Also Kangaroo could be a way http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/kangaroo .

But most it's enough for me to use pillows or sheets from here http://3dbar.net/?cat=10 and per cage edit you could adjust the form a little bit.

I'm interested in cloth simulation too and started a request at the Kangaroo forum:
