  • Materials are displayed incorrectly in shaded mode

After applying V-Ray materials to objects in a scene, the materials appear blown out (really bright). Some materials even appear white even though they are solid colors like blue or green. Has anyone else had this problem and is there an easy fix?

Is that when you are in a rendered mode viewport?
If so, when you have several lights, Rhino tries to show how it would look like. Try putting the lights on a layer and turning off the layer. Don't forget to turn back on the layer before rendering.

This is just in shaded mode. and there are no lights. I just use environment lighting. When I render, everything turns out fine, but it is an eyesoar to look at in shaded mode.

        Hi
That is a bug in V-Ray. We already fixed that issue. The fix will be available in the service release. We don't have a date for the release, but we are pretty close to do it.
