  • Is there a way to have a slave DR computer render by itself

    Hello all!
Like the title says, I am wondering if there a way to have a slave DR computer render by itself. I have a laptop that is a lot more powerful than my work PC and I have the DR server app on it. Sometimes I would like it if I could just have my laptop do most of the rendering work while I do other work on my work Computer. Rhino and VRay is installed my work computer and the DR is on the laptop.

Is this possible? Thanks a lot!

Also, Is there a way to batch render on Rhino 5?

    Thanks x2!!!

At this time there is no way to not involve the client machine when doing a DR render. As far as I know, there is no method to batch render in Rhino 5, I have heard of reports of it not working properly, I could be wrong though.

Couldn't you limit the used processor count at your PC to a low core count? At the Win7 taskmanager I could do it and keep the work done at the slaves. Only the LC need to be full done at the master machine.
