  • [Problem] Vray For Rhino + Lights

    Hi guys, I'm a newbye and I'm experiencing this problem with rhino 5 and the last version of Vray.

    Settings: Express_Very_High.visopt

    Light: Emissive material applied to a surface

    Near view - no problem -

    You can see the light through the shape in the far view
    ...and the more you get far with the camera, the more the light come out from the shape with blotches.

    How to fix it?

    Thank you

    Probably your IRMap is too low. Post your settings?

      Check sample visibility? -> http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/200R...vancedimap.htm

      or you could try to enable DE to avoid this light leaks

      At 1.5 the emitter layer can be set single sided (default), so that light goes in one direction only.

        if you are using Ligh Cache you can also enable the retrace threshold to avoid the light leaking.

          Thank you guys.

          The problem has been solved enabling the retrace threshold and setting a deloney triangulation interpolation method
