With V-Ray fully integrated within Rhino and all the other host applications it has seemed to be practically impossible to pull this off. There is a lot of work that goes on directly in the host applications that makes this a challenge. Right now we are focused on making sure that V-Ray for Rhino matches as closely as possible to V-Ray 2.0 for SketchUp. We are very much looking forward to V-Ray 3.0 for Rhino.
