    From my experience it is easier to achieve good results with a light b&w version in perpendicular slot. But you could also experiment with some dark version in parallel.

      Natural would to have a light cold env color and a warm directional (sun) light.

      I don't like to see the HDRI env at my studio ground here, so I set an own env at the ground material options - black or white, like you like.
