What we run into on our small distributed render renderfarm are occasional submitted files that come in with arbitrarily low "Dynamic memory limit" values, values that may be appropriate on the machine on which they were created but not on the machine doing the rendering. One came in with the (Rhino 4?) 400Mb setting and wasn't finished after 4 1/2 hours; after resetting the limit to 5000Mb it finished in under 30 minutes. I can't see, using the iTripoli tool to look at the VRayforRhino.tbl file (http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...still-possible) a function that looks like it can set this. It seems, in some respects, similar to the Distributed Rendering hosts listing which is saved on the machine in the V-Ray for Rhino.ini file, ie. an aspect of the machine being used, not an aspect of the file being rendered. Is there an exposed function or other way to force a setting here?
Thanks.
Thanks.
