viewing A and B images in the Frame Buffer

This should be an easy one but can not find it in the manual on how to use it. Want to view 2 images side by side with the slider. Using those 2 A/B buttons on the frame buffer.

Also, my top icons in the frame buffer are grayed out for some reason. Thanks.

To do this:
-Show the Render History by clicking on the small "H" at the bottom of the frame buffer
-On the Render History window, click on the save icon for two different images from the frame buffer
-On the Render History window, select one of the saved image and press the A icon. Select a different image and press the B icon
