Hi all,
I had the vray usb dongle installed on a pc which I was using for distributed render. I recently got a new server so I thought of moving the dongle to the server, but I cannot get the license to work anymore.
I installed the Wibukey drivers and the render spawner that come with the latest vray package, but I keep getting this message in the Windows Server 2008 R2 event viewer:
Activation context generation failed for "c:\programdata\ASGVIS\dongle utilities\vrlservice.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",pub licKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",versio n="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
I downloaded the latest wibukey drivers from their website, but it still doesn't work.
I have the MS Redistributable C++ 2005, 2008 and 2010 runtimes installed, including version 9.0.21022 which is listed in the error message.
Any ideas on what I could do?
I read of people installing this on Win Server 2008, how did you do it?
Thank you,
Guido
