Documentation for TexFalloff missing

Yes, ALL of the documentation appears to be gone. Or am I missing something obvious?

OH, I'm an idiot. I was browsing the help pages with my tablet. The menu on the left of the page doesn't appear in the mobile version, so there's no way to navigate to the actual info. Great.

We don't have documentation for the VfR procedural mapping. However, they are similar to the Max version.

Hi,
I know it's an old post but I'm struggling also with texFalloff.
Attached is a sample scene. I'm trying to control the height of the white color along the z axis using the 'Towards/Away' falloff type and I keep getting the same result regardless of what 'near' and 'far' values are. The sample is a sphere 100 units in diameter and I want to have a white dust cap and be able to control its extent.
Any help would be appreciated.
