    Need help -

When I launched Rhino this morning I get this message:
Unable to load VRayForRhino.rhp plug-in: no class derived from CRhinoPlugin in plug-in file

When I have the program open and I click on the render icon I get this message:
    Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error
    Error: Object required: 'Rhino.GetPluginObject(...)'
    Line: 4
    Char: 0
    Code:

I need to get to work. Can anyone help?

I searched on the McNeel forum and came up with this thread: https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/no-cl...-file/11254/28
At the end of the thread there is a suggestion to delete an entry in the registry. I did that and solved the problem.

      Hi
What V-Ray version and Rhino version you are using?

        Rhino 5 and V-Ray beta 3
But now I'm not using it at all. Stopped working. When I click Render nothing happens.
I uninstalled V-Ray but now I can't download the beta - it says 'Expired Download Access'.
So I'm dead in the water now.
        Can anyone help?

I reinstalled the previous version of V-Ray so I guess I'm back to work.
Unfortunately, when open Materials there's nothing there so I guess I have to recreate the materials that were in use with the Beta.
Not too big a hurdle I guess

What material you are opening, the material library? Did you open a scene and you don't see any materials? Can you explain a little bit more about the material issue?

Sorry for the delay - work pressure and the holidays intervened.

The material issue is very simple - after I couldn't open the beta any longer I uninstalled it and reinstalled V2. Now, when I open a file that I created while working in the beta, there are no materials in the material editor. It's blank. Fortunately my work requires 3 or 4 materials max so it wasn't that difficult for me to recreate them.

Is there any way I can get back on the beta? I enjoyed working in V3.

                Hello, Arail,

Do you happen to keep a copy of your project before you have manually recreated the materials? If you do, please archive it using V-Ray > Pack Scene from the Rhino menu and share the file with us (via private forum message or at support@chaosgroup.com) so we can investigate your issue in detail.

Regarding the "'Expired Download Access'" message, our support team just double-checked your Chaos Group account (the one registered to the same email you use for your forum account as well). Your beta license is valid and active and you should not have any trouble downloading the latest public beta at https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...2-win-x64-beta

                Kind regards,
                Peter Chaushev
