  • depth of field using aperture doesn't seem to work

    so is it functioning? even very small apertures (0.01 for instance) produce no effect. and there seems to be very little range when using the simple interface "defocus" option - if it could produce more blur that would be amazing as it's so easy to use.

    What is the lens length of your current camera? If you use a wide angle than it's not so easy to get a strong blur.

      The scale of the scene also makes a big difference (e.g. mm, cm or m).

      I've tried it out the other day and it worked just fine!
      The only difference between older versions and 3.x appears to be that V-Ray doesn't pick the camera object's focal point but, instead, you have to provide either point or distance, manually.
