    Hello All,

I recently updated to Vray 3 for Rhino and I cannot figure out how to add transparency to my decals. There used to be a 'transparency' option along with diffuse and I used to do it by clicking the 'm' button and selecting my black and white version of my decal, however now I cannot find any such feature on Vray3. There has to be a way to create decals without the white background but I am stumped! This link shows how to do it for Vray 2, but I cannot find anything for Vray 3. Can you help me?

    JessK,

If you are using a diffuse layer, the transparency can be found here:

If you are using a brdf layer, you can use opacity. Keep in mind that opacity is an inverted version of transparency, so things that are white are opaque and things that are black are transparent.
