  • BIOS Settings Numa & Memory mode interleave?

    Hey,

    few questions, I habe an HP Z800 Workstation. Dual processor Intel X5650 6x 2,66GHz, 24GB RAM DDR 3, Windows 10 64bit NVIDIA Quadro 5000, vray 3.4 for Rhino 5

In the BIOS I have settings for:

    PCI SERR# Generation
    PCI VGA Palette Snooping
    Memory Mode Interleave
    NUMA Split Mode

Can anyone shed light into what settings I should use here to create images in Vray Rhino on this machine in the most efficient way?
Please give practical advice not tech jargon.

    Thanks so much,

    Pretty

    Hello,
The PCI SERR and PCI VGA Palette Snooping best be left at their defaults.
As for the rest, the same advice applies, but should you wish to experiment with their values nevertheless, you can measure the difference by comparing your results with V-Ray Benchmark ( https://www.chaosgroup.com/vray/benchmark )

    Kind regards,
