  • The Corona takeover...what does this mean for V4R?

    Hi all,

Just interested to see if anyone has any thoughts on what this means for Rhino. Do you think this might lead to higher hopes of Corona for Rhino? Or probably less? Will we be able to purchase corona assets in the future with better compatibility to vray for rhino?

    Please discuss!

Ah, I understand. Thanks. No idea what it mean for VfR4. Maybe it's like drinking Fanta or Sprite, both is made by Coca Cola.

          Hello,

It is too early to tell, but it is safe to say that results of the joint R&D implemented in the V-Ray Core will eventually make their way into V-Ray for Rhino.
Interoperability is yet to be developed and is something that both teams will work on in the next few months. I have no info to share at this point about when and to what extent this will affect V-Ray for Rhino and SketchUp.

Will keep you updated with any bits of news I can share!

          Kind regards,
          Peter
