  • Transluceny vs Opacity

When creating a generic plastic material I see these 2 settings. How are they different?

    Hi,

A material with translucency will allow light to bounce inside it and exit the object at various points. Opacity will allow light to pass through the material in a uniform manner.

For better understanding of the Translucency parameter (Subsurface scatter), please visit https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...RDFSSS2Complex
