Hi Peter,
thanks, I tried that. The issue persists.
When I run a rendering I still get the same error message. mIght be also the Nvidia settings. Unfortunately Vray/Rhino is not listed in their settings list.
So for now I use the 3D Visualisation App Profile with:
-Open GL Overlay switched on
-Power management to Max
-Tripple buffering on
-Vertical sync on
Can you suggest which settings best to choose here? At the Nvidia forum I get suggestions to go to the Vray forum. Here I might get the opposite recommendation.
I plan to upgrade to a Nvidia Quadro M5000 in a few days. Hope that helps, it's the fastest card I can put into the machine without upgrading the power pack as well.
Honestly I am not so interested to know how my machine fairs against others. All I want to know is, will the graphic card upgrade solve this specific issue or not.
If yes I will upgrade, if no I will not. A simple answer would be all I want on this.
The new card has 8GB dedicated memory, the old has 2.5GB.
Kind regards Pretty
