  • How to use a continuous interactivity?

    Hi,

I enabled interactivity for setup a scene, but after a short while the rendering is stopped and changes are not shown anymore. Did I have overseen something? What doe's the interactivity slider?

I found, that it helps to enable "progressive" before "interactive" will be enabled. Since the "progressive" switch isn't available anymore if the "interactive" is set I suppose "progressive" should internal be enabled. Maybe it's not automatic internal enabled and this caused the stop.

      Hi Micha,

What you've described is really strange.
The Progressive toggle does not matter when Interactive is on (that's why it's hidden).
The interactive mode is always progressive.

Can you please record a video showing the issue or list exact steps to reproduce?

      regards,
      Konstantin

My advice is to set the Global illumination to brute force /brute force.

          Hi Konstantin,

I have a LC/IM setup and quick switched to "interactive" only. But today I have seen that the "progressive" switch doesn't help too. After a while the rendering is still stopped. Later this day I tried it again and now it was working.

I try to avoid to switch to BF/BF and hope it will stable work per single switch. I will observe the issue and report if I found more.

            Hi,

The GI engines should also make no difference in Interactive.
If you experience that behavior again, please record a video and send me the scene for further testing.
