  • [Vray for Rhino - 3.60.02] Irradiance Map only one prepass preview

I don't think this is a bug, so I posted in general section.

When I use "Irradiance Map" as primary engine, regardless I set up different values for min/max rate, Vray show me only one prepass during rendering.

I think that in the 3.x version of Vray the engine doesn't calculate all prepass for entire image, ma only where needed and during the baking is showing one interpolation prepass (view image).

    is it true?

    Thanks

    Hello,
In V-Ray 3 for Rhino, as part of the developer team's optimization efforts, the Irradiance Map Multipass parameter has been hardcoded to 0 and removed from the UI. Instead of calculating progressively refined passes only a single one is done at max rate.

    Kind regards,
    Peter
