  • Wish: disabled tile and "diffuse texture alpha" use could cause a transparent outside range

    Hi,

please look at the screenshot of a decal texture with png transparency setup and disabled tiling. I could be good, if outside the UV 0..1 range no additional blue color would be shown and this area would be transparent too. An other solution could be that the opacity slider is active ioutside the decal range or a constant color could be set at the opacity option for the outside range.

Also it could be very useful, if at the material preview the UV 0..1 range would be visible, so a decal setup could be checked there.

    Hi,

To achieve the desired results, you could copy the texture slotted in Diffuse and paste it into Opacity. To produce the transparency outside of the decal, adjust the Default Color parameter to a black hue (Bitmap > Parameters > Color Manipulation).

Thank you, I found it. Is there a chance to see the UV 0..1 range at the preview object?
