  • Wish: textured emissive Rhino materials (for video textures needed)

    Hi,

could it be possible please: if the user enable "self-illumination" that than the used texture glows? The idea behind this request is that the Bongo video texture also works with V-Ray, but only if a Rhino material is be used. But there seems to be no way to let the material to be emissive. (Could be a nice workaround since the V-Ray video texture doesn't work.)

Here a test (with a trick) which shows a glowing video texture of a rhino material. At the moment only diffuse textures are possible.

So if I get it right you want the emissive panel to reflect like glass?

Right, for example like glossy TFT screens from smart phones or info panels.
