  • Bongo Animation to be rendered in Chaos Cloud / Swarm

Hi, I found Bongo as a quick tool to animate objects (vehicles) in a scene. Unfortunately neither Swarm Rendering nor Chaos Cloud rendering is possible with Bongo. Is it possible to bring both tools closer togehter?

    Qick example:

    90 seconds @60fps = 5400 Frames @1920x1080

Each Frame takes 3 Minutes (Exterior Train Scene) to 10 Minutes (Interior Scene) with an AMD Ryzen 3700X

... Rendering this on a machine alone takes ages. Cloud would help dramatically .. and would create a significant income stream for ChaosCloud

    Hello, ifs_design_niederlassung ,
Please advise which version of V-Ray and Bongo you use.
Bongo animation rendering can be distributed via V-Ray Swarm. The "V-Ray Swarm" toggle in the asset editor simply needs to be enabled (and Swarm preconfigured) when running the Bongo animation render.

As for Cloud rendering of Bongo animation, there is currently no straightforward way to do this.
I can supply you with a script that exports .vrscene files for each frame which you will then have to submit for Cloud rendering manually (via the V-Ray Batch Render tool).
Please let me know if that suits you!

    Kind regards,
    Peter
