Hi there,
First off, thanks for having enmesh integrated into rhino. It would be an incredible cool feature if it would be more practical to use. One thing is the enmesh size settings: using enmesh now requires some trial and error with the tiling to find the right size. But the enmesh object itself already has the right size! So why not use this by default? Moreover there appear seams from time to time, so I also have to fix these. This all costs a lot of time which wouldn't be necessary if the default setup would be optimized.
Secondly and most important: using shingles would be wonderful for me if I could use the multisub material properly here to have color variations and so on. But the current enmesh logic produces something like to be seen in the attached image: not usable.
Such a strong tool not yet finished in development. Please care about this than it will be awesome.
Thanks
Toni
