Currently AI is being incorporated in the render workflow as a post-processing tool. As the AI denoiser toolset has helped me an insane amount with drastically speeding up render times on many occasions.
Incorporating an AI post processing toolset could be very useful. Mainly for enhancing small details, selectively adding realism and bridging the uncanny valley especially with rendered people and plants.

There are many "free" online tools that provide this service, but they do not come with clear and proper user agreements disclosing copyright issues. Most likely a company serving these "free" online services will end up owning the images produced.
