    I think it would be handy if objects don't neccessarily need a thickness. Especially transparent thin glas like materials. I think it would need a seperate material setting, in order to tell the rendering engine that it only meets a single sided object. Flamingo has this option to treat objects as thin walled.

    Hi Gjis- I guess what Flamingo does is just ignore IOR- probably just setting it to 1 would do the same thing in Vray.
