It would be nice if we could set the render priority to low.
Is this possible already ?

This is not a total impossibility. We'll definately give this some consideration

Interesting is, if you press the close "x" of the frame buffer, but let stay the mouse button pressed, than the rendering makes a pause. If you move the mouse pointer from the "x" than it run again.
