Materials and importing

I am in the process of making blocks for all my cars and others things I use often with materials already assign,so all I have to do when I need them,is import them in my current drawing.It work well,the materials are there and render correctly,except that if I want to make an adjustment to a material,I can't.I have to open the block(it does not work either if it is not a block) drawing make the changes and reinsert it in the drawing I am working on.Would it be possible,or is it possible,to have the materials of the imported blocks listed in the scene materials list so we can work on them ?


On an other note,where can I get info about the differents noises and what the settings means.

Materials and importing

Sure - I'll take a look at what's going on with the block issue. As far as the noise goes - I'll work on digging up some information on what all the parameters do.
