hi, well it would be like the renderd viewport or something like that, that allow to align, the image, with the models,

(HDRI dont shows up when is mapped on a model in the rendered viewport)

-> you could send the wish to the McNeel team too, because it could be a general Rhino issu

-> workaround: create a big mesh sphere and assign a Rhino env texture (convert your HDRI to a LDRI texture befor).
