hmm, not sure what you mean by this. Right clicking a material and choosing remove material is too much for normal workflow?

Probably I made a qrong statement, I mean a button that removes a material of a object but without deleting it. Remove under right click does that?

No, what we have so far removes the material from the scene entirely, not just the object. Your request makes more sense now.

Leo, if you go to the object properties and then to the material option you can change the material back to " Layer" or "Basic" instead of Plugin. Basically this option remove the material from the object.

Material properties -> plugin -> browse -> "none" cause a save material reset of the selected objects. I'm not sure it's scriptable.

Oops, didn't realise this was Rhino wishlist! i was posting a script for sketchup, heh.


Isn't a quick workaround to duplicate the material and then delete the original material?
