What does this error mean and what could be causing it?

Vray Next for SketchUp | CPU+GPU Cuda

Ryzen7 1700@3.6Ghz
RTX 2070
GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB RAM

Using Standalone with a .vrscene file, I get this error from time to time, when trying to render animation (239 frames). It's not predictable when it will happen.

I think this is also the same issue causing SketchUp to BugSplat when I'm rendering there?



EDIT:

I was using version 40001. Is this a known bug for vray 40001, which is fixed in 40002?

This was happening with Build 9bc354be from Jan 31 2019, 18:47:20

I now installed Build ebb382a1 from Mar 5 2019, 18:35:18, but haven't tried it yet.

sorta hard to tell without knowing a bit more info. But I would guess your running out of vram. Do you have task manager open at time of rendering and happen to notice what your available vram is at when it fails?

I would like to ask first of all , does this error appear only for this particular scene or it occurs with others as well.
I would suggest that you update to V-Ray 40002 and check if the Unhandled Exception still appears and if it does, does it still happen if you reset your render settings ?
