Dirt - Not Applying

I'm having problems getting dirt to work in Vray. I've never used it before so I'm sure that there is a crucial step I am missing, but I've followed multiple tutorials online and am having a difficult time.

Please let me know,

For using dirt with default values, you should have two surfaces that makes intersection.. For example draw a ground plane, or draw a rectangle on a surface of your cube and make like balcony, push forward..
