Pinned materials' preview

Thank you for your post! Currently, pinning an asset to the preview keeps it there throughout the session regardless of the asset selection.
It was designed to work on a global scale to cover the cases when sub-assets are actually instances of a top-level asset (e.g. a globalized texture can be edited while previewing a material that uses an instance of the tex).
Possible improvements to this functionality is to have 2 different pin actions - one global and another only for the current asset structure. The current implementation will most likely be expanded later on, although it is currently marked as a low-priority improvement.
Please let me know if you have any other suggestions in mind!

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the explanation. that would useful, since if the material preview is forgotten pinned, it would look that asset editor is stuck.
