Unable to install 2.2 on Mac OS

When I try to install the 2.2 update I get the following message “vray_42003_sketchup_osx.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
I'm running macOS Catalina version 10.15.6 on a 27inch iMac and SketchUp Pro 2020 Version 20.1.228

If the option to open the vray_42003_sketchup_osx.app.dmg file does not appear on the first attempt, please right-click on the file, then choose "Open" and click on the "Open" button that will appear this time.

i tried the right click "choose open"
