opening an EXR in the VFB Urgent!!

Hi i can't seem to open/import a render (EXR file) i have created in the chaos cloud into the VFB as i want to use the light mix to create various scenes from the one render... Can anyone help its quite urgent??

Hi,

In order for this to work you have to do the following:

1. Add a Light Mix render element in SketchUp
2. Select a 'Group by' mode that best fits your needs in the light mix options
3. Submit to the Chaos Cloud and render
4. Download the archive
5. Open the VFB in SketchUp
6. In the VFB main menu choose File > Load Image and select the .exr from the results archive
7. Change the Source mode to Light Mix
8. Change the lighting
