Vray 5 Asset Editor Not Loading

I'm playing around with switching from Vray Next to Vray 5. When I load certain files made with Vray Next into Vray 5, the Asset Editor does not seem to load. Everything is blank and I can't adjust any of the settings - see screenshot attached
