Vray 5 Update 1 - Asset Editor Having Problems

Is anyone having problems with the asset editor in Vray5, update 1? I updated a couple days ago, and some of my files don't load in the asset editor - see screenshots attached. This only happens for certain files that I open

You've mentioned that this error is occurring on certain project files - can you share a sample one so we can have a look and see if we can reproduce this on our side?

When this error comes up, would it be possible to grab the vrayneui logs and forward them through our contact form so we can have a look? You can find them in:

• C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Chaos Group\V-Ray for SketchUp\vrayneui - look for the latest vrayneui log files

You can forward them by reaching us through our contact form, just make sure to mention this thread in the email.

Have you observed any patterns on when is this occurring?
I'm assuming you are not having issues on freshly created projects - can you please confirm?

As Nikoleta mentioned, sharing the project file with us will help us determine the cause for the issue most quickly.
I suspect that this happens when you select a specific material in the Asset Editor.
So, if you don't want to share the whole project, you can just try saving out the problematic material as a vrmat and share it.

As my colleague mentioned, do share the specific material if you can find which one is causing the issue.

Moreover, please confirm if you are using assets/materials downloaded from the 3D Warehouse - we are currently investigating a number of reports linked to the same error. It is logged under WEBUI-5809 but any further assets would greatly help us determine the cause.
