  • Vray Textures not rendering properly (scale problem)

    Hi everyone!

I´m having this issue: after scaling and placing a texture (a Vray texture in fact), it renders as if I hadn´t scaled or placed. Anyone knows how can I solve this? I´m on Vray next, Sketchup 2019, win10 (last update)

    Thank you!

    Hi SergioAV,

Is this texture applied to the front or to a back face of the mesh?
If it's applied on the back then this might be the issue.

Thanks, Konstantin! It´s just a simple surface, it´s the ground in a scene. I applied it to the front face but will check.

It´s definitely applied to the front of the face... Any clue what could be wrong here?

Hi Sergio, Don't know if this is the answer, but did you scale the groundplane? What happens if you explode the groundplane and then make a new group? Also did you assign the texture to the group or the face within the group?

            Hi SergioAV,

Is it possible for you to share the model (or a simplified version) for testing?
This will make it much easier for me to tell you what is going on.

Sorry I didn´t answer, had to move on with a different strategy. If I stumble upon this problem again I´ll post again and share the model of needed, thanks!
