  • Vray proxy mesh textures

why is it that when you export a proxy mesh, there are no textures when its rendered - but when you export proxy scene, textures are rendered.

    Hi leotchest

To be able to get the textures as well, you can save and load them as .vrmat files after you've exported your proxy mesh. See if the following workflow suggestion will help you out: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IjP...mZ-nW7NpX/view

thankyou Nikoleta - that works. I am not sure i understand why we need to do the double export (export as vrmesh and then export again as vrmat). It would be great if we could attach thumbnails inside the vray editor to these vrmat files - so we could browse them and see what they are.
