When i change a material in SketchUp, darker or lighter, or add a new one, i don't see the change when in interactive mode.

Hi All,

i work with SketchUp 2021. When i change a material in SketchUp, darker or lighter, or add a new one, i don't see the change when in interactive mode.
When i stop the interactive mode and restart it i do see the changes. But i am shure i am supposed to see the changes right away when in interactive mode.
Maybe it has to do with the GPU ?
I have a RTX2080 Super GPU and Intel Core i7 10700K - Processor 3.8 GHz (5,1
GHz) - 8-cores - 16 threads. Windows 10. And 32 GB memory

Please help me out .

Appears to be working as expected on a simple test.

Can you show some screenshots/recordings demonstrating the issue? Please also provide the exact version of V-Ray found in Extensions > V-Ray > Help > About.

Hi Nikoletta,

i made a recording of the way i change the size and color of a material in SketchUp and in Vray interactive mode but i cant upload it. I get a unknown error ... even with small sizes.
Let me heatr what you think about it, i know i can change the bmp color in the asset manager, but with SketchUp itself it just goes a little quicker as it works. I used the color picker circle in SketchUp itself to change the color of the sketchup material.
Somehow i cant upload a gif movie of the way i worked. Can i send it somewhere ? I could add the vray version jpg. Let me hear, Koen

I tried to use the contact form but the max mb is 400 mb, my pack file is 850 mb. Any other way to send it ?

Hi Koen,

Thanks for providing the recordings; seems like Interactive is indeed not updated if the changes are done from the Default Tray's Material options (Color/Texture size). This is now logged under SK-3442 so our developers can have a look and see if this could be improved. Many thanks!
