Vray 5 causing sketchup 2021 on Mac to crash

OS: Big Sur 11.3
Sketchup version 2021
Vray Version: 5 update 1.2


Hi, I just spent $395 to upgrade to Vray5 from Vray Next 10 minutes ago. After installed, every time when I click render preview sketchup would "quite unexpectedly". I've tried five times, sometimes I click render preview from asset editor, sometimes directly from the tool bar, same crash, sketchup just crashes. Just spent $395 for this?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing such issues. Would it be possible to get in touch via our contact form so we can schedule a remote session and troubleshoot on the spot? If possible, please also forward the log files - VRayForSketchUp.log and vrayneui.log along with the Crash files, which you can find in:

• Users/***/.ChaosGroup/V-Ray\ for\ SketchUp/VRayForSketchUp.log
• ~/.ChaosGroup/V-Ray for SketchUp/vrayneui
• /Users/***/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
