    Hi david_aguilarfigueras ,

Do you see this error with any scene you try to render?
If it's scene specific, then sharing the project will help us find the issue.

Another thing that I'd recommend is trying CUDA.

The warning that states your driver is newer can be ignored in most cases.
We basically have a recommended driver version.
Everything newer will cause it to appear.

You can also try upgrading to the latest V-Ray version as discussed here.

I have a gtx 3090 and I usually use rtx to render. I just upgraded to the latest build and selected rtx and expected to wait for a bit whil it did it's compiling. It just started rendering via cpu.

Is there a specific nvidia driver you recommend and I take it you prefer us to use cuda?

I can send the scene if need be. I've got to get this job off my desk as soon as I can.

I rebooted and everything was working again. I chose cuda instead of RTX and I was able to render on high settings in not much longer time than I used to at medium with RTX.

            Hi patrick_anderson,

Note that the CUDA mode is by default utilizing your CPU together with the GPU/s.
This might have resulted in the shorter render time.

As for recommended drivers I'd suggest you visit our official GPU webpage:
            https://www.chaosgroup.com/vray-gpu
There is a black band stretching across that shows the currently recommended version.
            As of now it states:
Recommended NVIDIA driver for V-Ray GPU is version 471.11
