  • Vray Proxy suddenly stopped working - no materials brought through

For months I have been using a really effective work flow:
    1. Open file continuing object to be exported,
    2. Create Proxy
    3. Use the Vray browser to save the asset into a file local to the scene in which the proxy will be imported
    4. In the desired scene import the asset via the Vray dialog box not via tool bar icon
    5. Select the proxy through the SketchUp component browser.

Until mid way through today this worked perfectly and brought in the proxy with all materials, Now it comes in with no materials assigned, where as before the map file would contain all of the needed assets now there is nothing in there except a Vrmat.

I have no idea whats changed other than I updated Cosmos?

Any help would be much appreciated.

So to clarify further Chaos groups literature says:

"When a proxy asset is saved as a .vrmat file, both its source file (.vrmesh or .abc) and its referenced material asset files (texture maps) are saved along in a subfolder called Maps."

This certainly used to be the case but now there is nothing in the maps folder other than the .vrmesh

Please hep if you can - this is the final nail in the coffin with our Vray work flow! its becoming almost impossible for us to render a decent scene.
