  • Vray gpu sss green grapes material!!!

    Hi Nikoleta Garkova

Rigth now everything works ok for vray gpu for sketchup, no single crash in My proyects for vray gpu, but im going to ask You, how do You achieve with vray gpu 5.1 a green grape material, i'm going to render a dinning room with some grapes in a porcelain plate, rigth now i know how to render Wax, porcelain, etc with sss material, i already know that vray gpu doesnt support raytraced (refractive), i did a bunch of experiments and didnt get a rigth result, i would really appreciat if You can show or upload here an example of what kind of parĂ¡meters should i tick or untick or what values can i use for scatter Radius, phase function and the Index of refraction??? and Also what kind of colors do You suggest for this sss material, i don't want to wait for the update 2 since probably is going to take more time and i have to deliver a render for a client, this is a topic that i have a Lot of questions since a long time ago
    Thanks in advance
    Best regards

    Hi Luis,

Subsurface color is less saturated version of diffuse, scatter color could be a brighter shade of the green you used for diffuse
Index of refraction is around 1.6 or so ,you have some presets you can use as a starting point
I'm going to make a video about this, will post here shortly

    Best,
