Hi...looking for some help. I can't get my Vray for SketchUp to work at all. I have all of the toolbars present and my Extension manager shows it is installed and properly signed. However, none of the buttons on the toolbar work. They give a tooltip and I can press them, but they don't bring up any menus or the frame buffer. None of the dropdown entries work either. Not even the help or About boxes show up. Nothing works. I have a valid Vray Collection license and Vray 1.5 installed for Sketchup, along with the newest License server. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both several times. I've disabled my firewall and VPN. My online license server is active and the dongle is disabled. I tried to borrow an offline license. Absolutely nothing is working. I have Vray for 3ds Max installed, which is working normally so I'm completely stumped. Any suggestions? If not, who can I contact for help?

Hey adam_hails,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing such issues.
Can you confirm a few things -- Does this happen in a completely new (empty) project?
- Can you forward us the neui logs located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Chaos Group\V-Ray for SketchUp\vrayneui just to check if they give any hints?
- Have you tried a clean re-install to see if that changes anything? Make sure to remove any remaining Chaos Group folders/leftover files

nikoleta.garkova Thank you for the response. I just performed a total clean install after removing all of the Chaos Group products and license server, Cosmos, etc. I wiped the registry and manually deleted everything I could find. Still no luck. The folder you are referring to in the AppData is not there. Only a file called telemetry.json and VrayforSketchuplog (which is empty). I am on a deadline over the next 2-3 days and won't have time to do a remote session, but will submit a ticket as soon as I'm wrapped on the current deadline.

nikoleta.garkova FYI - On a hunch, I tried installing SketchUp 2020, fresh with no extensions and then installing Vray for it and it everything worked in 2020 as expected. I'm guessing at this point there is a conflict between Vray and another installed extension in 2021. If I can narrow it down, I'll let you know.

nikoleta.garkova I have solved my issue. I uninstalled my extensions from most recent backwards and found the culprit. It was an extension by Curic called "Recall Last Command". The author is a friend of mine, so I reached out to him directly and informed him of the issue so hopefully he can get it fixed. All is working as expected now. Thanks again for your help. - Adam

Greetings,
as in my post above I have the very same isdiue, all vray button do nit react.
Than you for pointing the possible culprit, one of plugins. I do not have mentioned Vuric plugin. Perhaps one of Curic instalked.
i can recall that I have already had Curic plugin that caused compatibility problems.
will update, iff I have one here.
PS
the strange thing is even the ancient update version installed after update 2 uninstalled that was working before behaves as in your case, no button works.

Hello, ARTCH ,
Can you please provide us with a full list of the SketchUp extensions you currently have installed beside V-Ray?
Additionally, could you please open the SketchUp Ruby console right after opening SketchUp and check if any error messages appear when attempting to click on toolbars?
If you have any trouble gathering any of the requested info, we can offer you remote assistance.
Kind regards,
PeterPeter Chaushev

Hullo,
As I mentioned Vray has been blocked by mind.sight.studio plugin calked SketchPlus.
once removed Vray works well.
i have contacted the author of the plugin in question.
Apparently the mind.sight.studio support team did not find any incompatibility between these two pieces of software.
Also a user on their forum confirmed that had no issue.
I have got certainty the problem described. Vray, any version does not work at all with SketchPlus activated. In both version of SU - 2020 and 2021.
The Ruby Console shows nothing.
Here is a list of all plugins (some of them are not active.

PS
Oh. I see.
I thought that there should be a message just in open Ruby Console window.
Here is its content after clicking on any Vray icon (SketchPlus enabled).
